During 7th and 8th grade, students will start to learn about all of their options for life after high school. Then in the Spring of their 8th grade year, we will begin the high school forecasting process. While our school counselors guide this process, students will complete the lessons in their classes and at home with their families During forecasting students will learn about the four high schools in Camas, explore different careers and post high school options, and create their High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP). The HSBP is a high school graduation requirement and will be adjusted annually with their high school counselor to ensure that each student meets the requirements to pursue whichever path they choose to pursue after high school. Students looking to join or re-join our district for 9th grade should reach out to their high school counselor to choose their high school courses.
