FAMILIES
We know that middle school can be tough and we are here to help! School counselors are resource to help work through the tough things that middle school may bring.
NEW STUDENTS
Coming to a new school can be exciting and for some, also overwhelming. As School Counselors, we do our best to help ease this transition. We meet with all of our new students and their families before they start, in hopes of setting them up for success through the transition to their new school.
We also work hard to ensure that students and families feel as prepared as possible for the transitions between elementary, middle, and high school.
SAFETY CONCERNS
For some kids, middle school is a time when mental health or other safety concerns can start to emerge. School counselors can serve as a resource to connect struggling kids and their families with resources that can help.
If you have concerns about someone's mental or physical safety please reach out for help. SW Washington Crisis Line (1-800-626-8137) and 911 are great resources.
