Counselor Bios
Emily Fitch
This is Ms. Fitch's sixth year with us at Liberty Middle School and she is super excited to be a Liberty Lion. She loves getting to work with middle school students every day. Watching them learn and grow is so rewarding. She hails from Oak Harbor, WA and completed her education in the Midwest, earning her B.A. in Psychology from Purdue University and her M.S.Ed. in Counseling from Northern Illinois University. During her time at Purdue, she participated in the All American Marching Band. Now, when she isn’t at school, she loves getting outside and on the water, especially with her Dragonboat team!

Billie Jo McEathron
Mrs. McEathron has been at Liberty since 2006. Before becoming a school counselor, she taught Language arts and Social Studies. She loves getting to know students and believes all kids can succeed. She loves being creative and working with kids to find solutions to complicated problems. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping and caring for animals on their small farm. She is a 4-H leader and an active member of a local running group.
